The Left Bank Village

The Left Bank Village is comprised of three buildings and a courtyard. The main building is a four-floored art-deco revival building with river terraces and a roof-top garden. It holds large public events and all kinds of private hire. We were recently the proud hosts of the prestigious Three Choirs Festival, the hugely popular Ministry of Sound and HCA contemporary which took place in November. The top floor of Left Bank is the popular Left Bank Cocktail Bar. As well as the classic cocktails, we have eight extra special cocktails unique to our bar, including Queen Bee, English Rose and The Alps. Expect a brand-new look to the cocktail bar’s ceiling soon About the Left Banktoo.

Sitting behind this main building is a coach-house, which is a Dutch-style café/bar called De Koffie Pot. It has a large devoted client
al and has become the number one destination for a riverside ale or some exquisitely decorated home-made cake. Upstairs in De Koffie Pot hosts an extensive and balanced range of classes and clubs and our Gallery Space has regular forward thinking, engaging exhibitions that challenge the viewer.

A third building, the grade II listed Gwynne House, is our vintage chic accommodation, with three charming bedroom s with en-suite bathrooms available for hire.

All three buildings overlook a central courtyard; its fire pits, hay-bale seating and multi-coloured bandstand give it a wonderful festival vibe.

Our live music scene at the Left Bank is alive and kicking.Live Fridays Upstairs in De Koffie Pot show an incredible line up of experienced and acclaimed acts. Saturdays is ‘The Bandstand Buskers’ on our Bandstand and we have an excellent festival line-up too, such as dance festivals, music festivals, day of the dead festivals and more.

And our new speakeasy nightclub in the basement of the Left Bank is fast becoming to the new place to be, with its edgy feel and underground secretive location, you wouldn’t even feel like you were supposed to be there, but you are!
